Hey, I’m amanda.
I help busy business owners and entrepreneurs create simple, nourishing meals at home with more ease, so they can feel better, stay focused, and spend more time on the life and work they love.
I’m a Certified Nutritional Practitioner, Certified Holistic Chef, Makeup Artist, and Hairstylist based in Nanaimo, B.C. Through Oso Nourished, I support people who want to eat healthier, feel better, and reconnect with a more sustainable way of caring for themselves.
With over a decade in holistic nutrition and five years as a Personal Chef cooking for busy families, business owners, and seniors, I bring both education and hands on experience into the kitchen. My approach is rooted in whole foods, practical planning, and helping people build habits they can actually maintain in real life.
I believe a one size fits all approach does not belong in nutrition or beauty. Each person is unique, and the support they receive should reflect that. My work is about helping you find simple ways to nourish yourself well, without rigid rules, quick fixes or all or nothing approach.
Alongside my wellness work, I have over 15 years of experience as a Makeup artist and Hairstylist in Vancouver and now Vancouver Island, specializing in natural, enhanced beauty that still feels like you. I have worked on set for Breakfast Television, Sportsnet, commercials, and brand projects including Lululemon. I have also represented a Vancouver Island-based sustainable beauty brand and ran my own green beauty store and e-commerce shop in Vancouver, rooted in my passion for ethical, more conscious beauty.
Whether I’m supporting someone in the kitchen or in the makeup chair, my goal is the same: to help people feel like the best version of themselves in a way that feels calm, natural, and true to who they are.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me with my rescue sled dog, out in nature, or dreaming up my next travel adventure.
